2006 IRIS Proposal

IRIS submitted its 5-year renewal proposal to the NSF this summer. The proposal came from a community-wide effort to document IRIS's success in facilitating advances in seismology and outline a program to fostering further development. Based on the theme "Cornerstone Facilities for Seismology and Earth Science", the proposal consists of 3 major parts

Project Description: A concise summary of the IRIS Consortium, the facilities that it operates, the science that is accomplished, activities proposed during the next five years, and a budget plan.
